Firelight Blessings: Spiritual Guides

The Magic Glass gifted me with an image of a bird, possibly an owl and a Koala Bear. Each of them appears to be sitting on a branch. Owl images and visits, have been showing up in my life for years. Bears, of course, too! I don't remember ever seeing a Koala in person. 

I am fascinated by Koala Bears. I enjoy watching various programs and or reading articles about them. I know that they eat primarily eucalyptus leaves, are from Australia and are marsupials, which means that they have a pouch to raise their young in. They sleep a lot, move slowly and prefer warm weather. Rest, commune with nature and going with the flow, are some of the spiritual gifts of the Koala.

An owl sleeps during the day and like me, is up at night. They are hunters and as it turns out, in Australia, big owls hunt Koalas. Humm. Good thing the owl in this image is a smaller one! Wisdom and insight are spiritual gifts of the owl. 

I am blessed, that I live on a small acreage with a beautiful Pine Tree forest. The trees surround a lovely meadow. This is a great habitat for owls as well as other animals. I am grateful that I can commune with nature on a regular basis. Today, I will enjoy the grounding energy of earth, as we split wood, in preparation for the upcoming snowstorm. The snowstorm  is expected to arrive tonight. Believe it or not, I am incredibly grateful that snow is arriving, instead of ice, as can happen here this time of year. Once the snowstorm arrives, I will heed the message of the Koala. I will rest and go with the flow. Once prepared we will live primarily inside for a few days (when we are not attending to the horses or plowing). 

We are almost ready for the next weather pattern to arrive. We have just a few more things to do to be 100% ready for the drastic change. We need to split and stack the wood we cut yesterday. We need to put the plows on the tractor and side by side and drag the tractor tracks we put in the arena when we moved hay into the barn. Dragging the tracks will help to prevent slippery spots from developing. We are heeding the messages of the owl, by being wise and listening to our intuition, so that we are well prepared.  

Honestly, I prefer the same outdoor temperatures Koalas need to survive in, but since I live where it can get very cold, I will take the Koala's lead. I will go with the flow during the next 2 weeks, as the Polar Vortex moves into our area, after the snow moves out. I will be grateful for the blessings winter brings. 

I am blessed to be able to see, feel, hear and heed beautiful messages from my spiritual guides, my Angelic Team and/or Universal love and wisdom.
