When I saw the Magic Glass Image of a lion looking into the eyes of the person on the right, I could feel the power of the lion as he imparts his wisdom upon the person. I immediately thought about the 21 Day Meditation Challenge I am participating in. I feel as though I am this person and my guides are speaking to me, like this magnificent lion, the King of the Jungle, is speaking to this person. They are listening deeply to each other. The connection is palpable.
A lion represents, strength, courage, and wisdom. A lion is confident, fearless and brave! Sharing my meditations takes all of the skills that a Lion represents. I am humbled by this message today as I prepare to Meditate for 15 minutes.
It is cold here and only going to get colder. This morning we added a couple more panels of insulating curtains to the window. We have the fire stoked and the horses are all fed and as warm as they can be in the barn. Interestingly, horses tolerate the cold weather better than the summer heat, if they have enough food to eat and can get out of the wind. Which ours have. Dan, my husband, is out in the cold, plowing snow, which gives me a window of time to meditate and write for the day.

I made some coffee, and something to eat. This morning I toasted (burnt) 2 Almond Flour rounds and I covered them each with some dairy free cream cheese and some Chia Strawberry Jam. I cut up an organic Bartlett Pear I had left in the refrigerator to eat on the side. It was soooo good. (even with a few burnt spots)
I chose 'Canoe in the Jungle' by HoomBand Studio to play through my headband earbuds. It is a peaceful adventure with natural sounds. I can hear singing birds, water sounds (almost like rain or a waterfall), and a paddle moving through the water that hits the canoe from time to time. It is perfect for today's meditation.
Opening Words have been read (page 33 of "The Path to Hearing Angels and Guides" by Debbra Lupien)
I read Day 3 on page 43. Take away from this powerful meditation. I loved that there was a swing and water in the meditation. I chose the perfect soundtrack to listen to for my meditation practice.
The timer is set.
Oops, my hour is up. Dan came back in.... No worries. He is going to go to town to get more bedding for the horses, while I meditate and mix supplements up for the horses. When I say it is cold, It is 6 degrees Fahrenheit with wind. He would rather I write now, so that I can help with chores later. I understand that. Doing chores in these temps and the upcoming lower temps is difficult on us humans.

I put together the supplements first, because I know that Dan would get home from the store and mix them up himself, if I was in the writing zone. Which happens a lot. OOPS. I think I am ready to actually commit the next 15 minutes to my meditation practice.
Hit the timer and breathe!
Eyes closed. breathe in and out. breathe in and out.
The sound stopped on my soundtrack, so I restarted it.
Hit the timer again:
Closed eyes... again
Breathe in. Breathe out... my mind is not calm... yet!
Slow down little one.
Little? Did you just call me, little?
Compared to us, you are little... slow down. Breathe. Relax. Allow
No rush...
(Ah the soundtrack is too loud, so I moved the headband up.... ahhh much better.)
I decided to move my body with the water sounds. Stretch...
Breathe. Relax.
Flow with the water... What do you see, feel and hear, besides the birds and water sounds from the sound track?
I feel my breath is being held. I see an owl sitting on a branch. I hear your voice coming through my crown chakra. (Actually it is coming from the right front part of my head. Almost above my right eye.)
I feel energy arrive through my toes. It moves up through my body to my heart, my forearms and neck. I take in a deep breath and feel my back muscles relax.
My thoughts turn to the lion and the person... I ask if this represents us. I hear, "Today it does. Tomorrow will be something new."
Now breathe, go deeper. Find your center. Release the thoughts...
My fingers rest on the keys and vibrate. (I rested like this for a few moments.)
As I breathe, my breath is calmer, deeper and more rhythmic. I see a horizon appear. Light on the bottom, dark on top. Ocean like.....
Pause. Breathe. Relax
I see a path, with a circle and rays coming from it. It's not the sun or the moon, because it is dark.
Breathe. Stretch.
Do the rays represent something?
Yes, they represent the energy we are sending you (long pause....) and the energy you send out to the world.
I see a sailboat on the ocean... it is small. The moonlight surrounds it. The sail is a lighter color. The water is smooth and gentle. I see a whale, it is pushing the boat... or riding next to it. Now it (the whale) is looking at the boat and singing...
I sure hope my fingers are where they are supposed to be.
The timer rings... I take a deep breath and turn it off.
Once again, I scrolled up quickly. I saw only a couple of red lines representing misspelled words. I think I can figure out what they are supposed to be fairly easily as I edit what I wrote. What I find interesting is that I rarely capitalize a letter when I am meditating. Nor do I use a lot of punctuation. Commas are used, but even then those are not always used. I guess my guides know that I can fix those types of things later.
I feel calmer... The sailboat and whale were amazing to see today.
Snow is falling ever so softly outside. It is beautiful and peaceful.

What do you hear, see or feel when you meditate?
Do you have as many distractions, when you are preparing to meditate, as I seem to?
How do you feel when you are done meditating for the day?
Closing Words: Page 33. I nearly forgot to read them.
Manifest a magical day.
