Firelight Blessings: Meditation Day 4

Dan, my husband took this photo yesterday on his way out to the barn to give the herd more hay. The snow was so incredibly beautiful, as it was falling gracefully from the sky. Ollie, my Arab/Draft cross was asking if he was going to give him more hay as he watched Dan walk to the barn. Today, the sun is out, but it is cold. Minus 10 F. when we did chores this morning. Fortunately, the barn was only minus 5 F. this morning. We are pondering what we are going to do, to simplify chores, while the temps remain below 0 over the next few days.

Debbra Lupien's Day 4 Meditation, in the Facebook group, mentioned asking for what we want. Since the temps are low all over, I will ask for it to warm up to above 0 degrees F., sooner than predicted. However, what I am also going to ask for is inspiration to make our chores easier. We have tried a couple of things, but still we can do better in these low, low, low temperatures.

Last night, I had a dream. I was in a spiraling tunnel, that brought me down into a cave. I was there because above ground there was a lot of negative behaviors going on. It was not safe above ground.

This was a dream, but I do believe that it was also a message: "Stay out of negative spaces." Go below it, to safety. Don't join in, don't add to it, don't try to stop it. Go below it, to a warm, peaceful place and let the negative energy pass you by. I woke up knowing that I needed to share it in today's post. I don't exactly know why, but it has been shared.

I also had a dream about my Magic Glass. I have played around with different colors to set the glass on and I have played with other glasses. I did find one glass that also is designed in a way which provides the right amount of water to move under it, when I set it down. This attribute seems to be what is needed to create these amazing images.

My question for you, have you played around with your water or wine glasses to see if they too are Magical?

I have had my brunch and my coffee. The fire is stoked. Dan is working in his workshop. Tipper, our dog, is laying in the bright sunshine, as it shines through the window. My heart is calm and open.

I have chosen a soundtrack, "Lost In The Ocean" from HomeBand. The description reminds me to imagine myself laying on a sailboat deck, as it floats freely in a calm ocean. This works perfectly with the end of yesterday's meditation.

Wow. It is lovely, I can hear the water, I can hear the boat's lines as they ebb and flow with the sail. I can hear birds, maybe gulls, calling and I think whales are whistling in the background. It is perfect for today. There are no coincidences. This sound track may be my favorite one to meditate with, so far.

Opening Words, page 33. ("The Path To Hearing Angels and Guides," by Debbra Lupien)

Day 4: Page 49. I am in awe. Today's reading was about stillness, introspection and at the very end there was some humor. I laughed anyway, though I am not sure Debbra saw it as being funny at the time she wrote it.

Kind of like me, yesterday when I started to meditate, but was distracted by the soundtrack stopping just as I started and again when it was way too loud and I had to push my headband up, I did not see the humor in it. However, humor loosens up our meditation muscles and helps us to be lighter, more connected to our inner voice, where insights and wisdom come from.

Am I ready to start the timer? Yes, I think that I am indeed ready.

I have set the timer for 15 minutes.

Ready, Set, Go:

Oops, I needed to move my body into a more comfortable position. I don't need my feet to fall asleep.

Ready, Set, Go:

My hands are placed on the keyboard. I looked to see if I was typing correctly. Yep, I am!

Breathe in breathe out. I feel as though I am laying on that sail boat, as it rocks gently in the surf. I see the birds flying over my head.  The whale is back! It is eyeing me, as I am laying there. (it was bouncing up and down in the water) Breathe like a whale...

 Breathe deep. Breathe deep. Relax!

Energy rises through my toes, into my knees. I roll my back and roll my head and shoulders. Mindful to keep my fingers on the keys.

The energy moves to my heart.

My fingers feel warm and invigorated...  I see a heart. It is growing larger.

I am reminded that yesterday I could hear two voices. My voice and the voice of my guide.

My voice was higher in tone. While my guide's voice was much deeper.

This is important, because just like listening to a movie or an audiobook, different voices are used. Different tones are used. Different cadence and rhythm is used to help us to tune in and to differentiate between our ego voice and our wisdom, as well as our guide's tone. So listen for the tone, as you move throughout your day.

Deep breath, almost a sigh.

My breathing is rapid... deep breath... relax, allow. That was a lot of information for today.

Breathe. Relax. Find your peace, as you watch the heart and listen to the waves.

The heart turns into the sun, as it rises or falls over the horizon... The whale is gone, but I can feel it moving around the boat, circling to the left.  How interesting to watch the sun and feel the whale's energy swirling around the sailboat at the same time.

My mind is quiet... deep breath... A deep long breath, in and out.....

I am reminded of my childhood. I am laying on top of the houseboat, being lulled by the waves, after a  boat passed us by.  A lovely memory, full of love, happiness and joy.

I linger there... holding that memory in my heart.

The timer sounds.

At first look, my meditation notes, look as though, I can easily decipher them. Typing with my eyes closed is definitely getting easier. I am more confident in allowing my fingers to move independently of my mind. In other words, I don't feel as though I need to micromanage them. I can allow them to move as if my guide is moving them, instead of me.

The same pattern as yesterday is appearing. I have very few capital letters. There are spaces where some punctuation belongs or there are commas where periods need to go. I have permission to edit. I am confident that my team will help me, as I move through the notes.

After editing:

Interestingly, I had not remembered most of what I typed. It was as though it entered my mind, moved out my fingers, as new thoughts moved into my mind and then also moved out my fingers. Knowing that I could read them later and process them whenever I feel the desire to do so.

Closing Words: (Page 33) I noticed a shift in my energy as I read these words today. This is a new awareness.

Have you noticed voices having different tones or rhythms while you meditate?

How do you record or remember what you have experienced while meditating?

Do you have a favorite sound track you listen to when you meditate or do you prefer to meditate without a soundtrack?

Manifest a magical day.
