21 Day Meditation Challenge: Day 14

The last 3 days I have noticed a single Canadian Goose as it flew overhead. Mournfully calling out to other geese. Tonight I saw it head toward a group of about 3 geese as they flew south. It was joining up with a community of geese. I wasn’t surprised when I saw this Canadian Goose flying alone. I can only hope that it too finds a community to fly with. It is so much easier when we belong to a community of like minded souls. 

Today, I was full of energy. It is a very cold day here. Minus 10 F this morning. It was 3 below when we went out to do our horse chores. We have colder air coming in for the next two nights before a warm up occurs. Tilly’s not suffering from the cold, though it has slowed down her house training a little bit. All we can do is laugh. She finds that she does not get a treat unless she goes outside or on the designated spot in the house. We call it the indoor deck. 

This too shall pass! Tilly will grow up and learn to go outside all of the time. The cold temps will leave, warm weather will return and I trust the Canadian Goose will find its community of feathered friends. 

I spent the day moving furniture. We hauled a small bookshelf upstairs. I took all kinds of books and items I want to sort through, upstairs, too. I piled them all on the semicircular table I talked about yesterday. Tilly followed me up 4 steps several times. She made it up 4.5 steps another time. The last time I let her follow me, she made it up 3/4ths of the way. At that point I decided that she had ventured up there enough for one day. Dan helped me out by taking her outside for the last couple of trips I made. The Spirit Room is a mess. I need to go through everything I took up there. Sell, keep or donate. It felt so good to be motivated to do this today on this very cold day. 

I am not exactly sure how I am going to do this with Tilly, because I don’t have it as puppy proofed as I would like it to be, yet. Good thing she takes a lot of naps and can be easily entertained with her toys. The goal is for her to be up there with me when the weather warms up a little bit. She is part of my pack and needs to be safe and welcome. 

I just had a flash of the Canadian Goose looking to join a new community. Tilly joined ours. Tipper, Squirt (Nabby) Dan and I have brought her into our community. Each of us has been adjusting to her being here. Each of us has created our own special relationship with her. It’s fun to watch. Last night she slept on my legs at the foot of the bed with the other two dogs. I pulled her up between us a couple of times as she hasn’t learned to jump off the bed. I was concerned that I might push her off with my feet. It did warm my heart that she wasn’t being growled at or being pushy. She just fits in, like she has always been here. That is what the Canadian Goose was planning to do. It was planning to fall in line with the other geese. As it wanted  and needed to join a new community. 

We are like Tilly and the Canadian Goose. We need to fit into a Community. I left teaching almost 2 years ago. I left a national and local horse community. I can relate to that Goose, mournfully calling to the flock of geese. Can I join your community? Can you relate to the goose? 

I drew these 4 cards tonight after saying the Akashic Prayer. The top row I asked for a general message for us all. The second row I asked for cards that show where we are on our soul journey. (I saw this idea in the guidebook for the Magic of Unicorns.) I was blown away by the Lion. As I had the dream with the lioness last night. Also I was blown away by the number 37. Isn’t that the number I have had come up now several times? Yes, I am pretty sure it is. 

Wish Wisely. Take action to make your dreams come true. Co-create with the Fairies. Write down your wish, visualize this dream, meditate on your wish, and listen for inspiration over the next few days or weeks in order to bring it into reality. This card can also mean you are about to receive a gift or that you will be giving a gift to someone without expectations of being given anything in return. 

Healing. This card could mean that you or someone you know is in need of healing. Healing may mean that you are listening to another. Listen with love, not judgement.  (WOW, I just said this in a chat. I am listening, not asking questions, even though I want to. Confirmation for me, that I am healing through listening.) The guidebook talked about other modalities of healing. Hands on healing, Aromatherapy, vitamins and minerals as well as sleep are all ways to heal. It also mentioned that it might be a sign that you or someone you know may need to go see a health professional. Art Therapy options for healing are great for younger people. I would add that horse and pet therapy or Red Light Therapy are wonderful options, too. 

When I was waiting for a Unicorn card to pop, I asked, Where are we on our soul journey? 

37. Command the universe with the Spiritual Warrior. I would say that is very accurate for our community as we are on a spiritual journey to meditate together for 21 days and beyond. The reading for this card was long. Let me see if I can give you the essence of it. 

Be strong, courageous and wise. Protect the weak and vulnerable. You are emotionally mature. Your masculine and feminine qualities are balanced. You are a natural leader, with authority, charisma and grace. You empower others to do their best. 

Be firm and clear about what you want. Stand in your power with wisdom. Be prepared for the universe to deliver what you have asked for. 

This last paragraph was amazing. “You are a force for good. Be one who enables humanity to make a jump shift into the new Golden Age.” 

WOW…. This is where we are all at on our Spiritual Journey. This is why we are here, together in this community. Adding our spiritual energy to the community of souls to lift each other up and be a force for good. 

The last card for today is 19. Cocoon of white light. This card invites us to merge with love. It is a powerful  healing white light. This sounds like what we are doing each day when we meditate for 15 minutes. We are grounding ourselves in a sea of love and light. The unicorn horn can bring this light to us from its horn as it forms a bubble of protective white light around us. We can soak up this beautiful love and light for as long as we wish. Affirmation. I rest in a cocoon of love. 

My soul journey has at times been bumpy and hard. I have come so far in the past few years from that crazy gravel road experience. I kept running into dead ends or deep ruts full of fear, anger or distress. 

Currently my spiritual journey feels almost effortless. It is easy, and smooth. Loving and calm. Peaceful and joyful. I write and I am excited to continue this adventure. I love co-creating magical and magnificent experiences with my Angelic Tribe. I love my deepening connection with them as we continue to explore ways to communicate easily. Our conversations are deeper and richer. The gifts I receive  from my Angelic Tribe continue to blow me away. May you experience a similar but unique experience with your team, too!

Magical Gifts and Gratitudes: Teeter Totter

Where do you like to ride a teeter totter?  

Do you choose the high side, the low side or do you prefer the middle?

This pretty little bird feels as though it would be in the middle, today! 

It feels calm and unaffected by the movement happening on either side of it. 

The energy moves up and down on either side, as it balances calmly on the fulcrum. 

The people moving up and down are enjoying the ride, yet I wonder if they realize they could choose to balance on the calm fulcrum, instead?

Moving closer to the center is the answer for both people on the teeter totter if they seek peace and calm. 

They don't have to feel the incredible highs or the crazy lows. They can feel the crystal clear and calm energy the peaceful bird is experiencing!

Today, I am grateful that I am enjoying the peaceful crystal clear energy the middle of the teeter totter freely offers to us all.

March Pause: A Writer’s Priorities

I have not been writing…So odd.

My friend, Debbra Lupien, called it a pause, because I downloaded so much during the 21 Day Challenge that ended last month. Pausing my writing, feels right, so, I am going to go with this pause, throughout the month of March. (When I first said that, my whole body reacted with a sigh and a calming vibration).

I am spending my time learning how to eat, to lose weight and repair our health (blood work numbers are a bit high) from Dr. Livingood, exercising (high intensity) 10 minutes a day ( love these workouts, also from Dr, Livingood), playing with or riding my horses, learning from my amazing horsemanship coach while riding my Balance Rider, improving my emotional health via Mavis Karn’s classes and spending time with a friend of mine who suffered a severe stroke a few weeks ago. She was recently moved into a rehab unit, and is making wonderful progress. I was with her and her lovely family on Saturday. (Please send my friend healing lovelight).

I will be back, I promise! Sometimes a writer’s priorities shift!

Heartfelt Gratitude: Cherished Moments

Chiquita and me. I was about 6 years old in this photo. I spent hours and hours in this little 50 foot round pen, riding Chiquita. She was a sweet Arabian Welsh pony cross, she taught me so very much. My mom walked and walked with me around and around, in the white round pen, until she knew without a doubt, that I was safe to go it alone. She was always close by, usually weeding the flowerbeds and watching over my busy brothers!

This morning, I was drawn to take a picture of our 50 foot white round pen. As I took it, I heard my angelic team whisper, "You live an enchanting life! Your life is far better, than the life you grew up in, cherish it!" 

I felt the powerful energy of this message. It is true. My life is magical. I may not have the fancy house and barn, but I live a peaceful, loving life with our land, our horses and each other. I am not living a life to impress anyone or have the best of anything. I live life from my heart and I am content.

Yesterday, a beautiful Red Tailed Hawk was soaring in large lazy circles over the land we call home. We were spreading gravel on Ollie's long lane to his track. The frost is letting go and the dirt was muddy around the corners. We wanted to give him good traction for his huge feet. While working, this hawk drew me in, as it kept soaring closer and closer to us. I felt peaceful and content as I watched it. I felt like it, was watching us, too! Hawks, are powerful spiritual messengers.

Hawks represent freedom, wisdom, strength and spiritual growth. Trust your wisdom and your insights. As I watched this lovely bird flying majestically, I could not help but feel its strong focus and incredible wisdom. I wondered if it was searching for a nesting sight, food or simply enjoying a beautiful day. The sun was bright. The clouds were gently swirling, there was very little wind and we were all enjoying very warm, spring-like temperatures. 

My heartfelt gratitude is for these cherished moments. I treasure my life, I cherish today. I cherish the memories I am open to reliving, not just retelling. I heard some very sage advice from a mentor recently. "It is ok to retell your story, but you don't have to relive it if it brings you pain!" It took me a long time to learn or maybe I could say, relearn, that I can choose which memories I want to focus on. I can also choose which memories I want to discard or retell, not relive!

Firelight Blessings: Meditation Day 15

I dreamt about my friend who crossed over in July. It was a beautiful experience, We traveled to all of our favorite places together. We went to her favorite riding places and rode our heart horses together. We went to my favorite riding places and rode our heart horses together. We took turns playing with our horses and laughing. We trimmed horses feet and discussed life. It was a joyful experience.

This morning, I wondered if I even needed or wanted to, officially meditate because my dreams had been such a lovely and happy experience. I decided to turn on a meditation soundtrack mostly because I had time and I was awake. I didn't need more sleep.

I turned on the Singing Bowl meditation before I rose for the day. It is one of my favorite soundtracks now. I was pleasantly surprised, when I saw pictures of our winter wonderland, here on our property. It was as if I was actually driving through the snow, past our trees and our meadow, like we have been doing for the last 2 days. I even heard the crows calling to each other as if they were saying, come join us, it's amazing out here.

The 4 elements came up. Fire, wind, and water were the first 3. However, earth and grounding were the 4th elements that I was given. Is that actually the 4th? (I remember thinking that I need to look up the 4th one, just in case I am wrong. Did I hear my team correctly?) Yet, grounding and earth was what I was given, so I am going with that. (I looked it up, Earth is the 4th element, but I was also told that grounding to the earth is important and is part of the 4th element.)

Fire came to me, when I was seeing the brush piles. They are not burning, but years ago we burned them during the winter. It was a sad memory, because I remember seeing bunnies run out of the piles. We had burned their shelter. Now we pile them for the bunnies, which currently feels like the very best solution for the brush piles. They eventually decay and return to the earth, but until then, they provide shelter for many.

Wind appeared, when I was being shown the piles of snow, that looked like waves that had been created during a recent blizzard we had. Those huge waves of snow were outside of the trees. Inside the trees and inside the meadow area, there were no snow waves. This area was protected and sheltered from the wind by the forest trees.

Water was next. Interestingly, the water appeared while looking at the snow waves, too! I was reminded that these waves will melt soon. The water will nourish the wildlife, the trees and the grasses. I was also told that water is incredibly powerful. It flows and moves with the earth. As it does it erodes new pathways and moves dirt, sand, rocks and more, depending on how much water is moving at one time. I was shown a picture of our arena after a heavy rainfall. I am always amazed at how much sand is moved by the gushing water as it moves down hill.

I remember looking for the owl, but I did not see it during this meditation. However, I could feel its strong, calming, loving, and wise energy. I was reminded to appreciate, protect and nourish mother earth. Be grateful, protect, cherish and nurture the 4 elements of Mother Earth.

The connection between ourselves and nature is vitally important. Do not forget this connection. Do not allow it, the connection, to become a lost art.

Magical Gifts and Goodies: 2023 Adventures.

The last full moon of the year was spectacular! A perfect ending to a year of 'Magical Adventures,' for which I am incredibly grateful for! 

I found myself in a very poor emotional state as the year started! My plan for retirement, from a special education teaching career, was moved up by 2 full years and 2 months! I have no regrets! I miss everyone, but I wasn't able to give to everyone anymore! They were giving to me, as my tank was empty!

Creating Magical Adventures with a Unicorn was how I started the 2023 year! I decorated my teaching cart with a unicorn and galloped through my final quarter of teaching! My students named her Aurora! 

Staff, students and visitors smiled when we rolled by! Aurora called out and cantered happily when one of us pressed her magic button! Giggles were heard far and wide when she sang and danced!

 I was gifted many magical hearts and unicorns this past year. All of them are special! All of them have helped to  move me from a very low place emotionally, to the place I am today, as we close out 2023. 

My words for the 2023 year were, 'Magical Adventures,' and it was a year full of them! 

I started writing about horse, side by side and boating adventures! Gratitudes, Rock Reflection Ritual, Angelic Communion Practice and Magical Gifts and Goodies were inspired and written about, almost every day, after I retired! 

Fortunately, healing from grief, trauma and burnout occurred organically as the days, weeks and months passed. 

Unfortunately, more waves of sadness occurred when my dear friend and two of our fur babies died during the summer. 

My angelic team, dear friends and loving family members, once again gathered around and supported my aching heart, as I navigated through each of these deep heartfelt loses! I practiced mindfulness often, with my feet resting on a beautiful rock! I searched my soul and once again was able to climb out of another low emotional state!

I am grateful that I am healthier, as I say goodbye to 2023! It was a year full of 'Magical Adventures,' sad goodbyes, healing, reflection and new beginnings! 

May 2024 be 'Magical' in every way!

Magical Gifts and Goodies: Owl Inspiration

Last week, the Magic Glass sent me a lovely image of a Great Horned Owl and what appears to be a younger Unicorn. The unicorn’s magical horn is just starting to appear or is hidden behind the wise old owl. My heart feels that they are sending magical messages to listen to my intuition and wisdom. Together, they remind me to see my life through the heart of a young, however, wise child, who is full of love, insight and creative imagination. I am inspired to continue to live an adventurous and magical life!

Recently, my husband and I were riding through our forest trails, when a huge Great Horned Owl swooped down from the top of an evergreen tree. Our second sighting of the year, though this Great Horned Owl was in a different part of the property from the first sighting. This one flew fast and quietly down the trail, before it flew up to the top of another tree, about 100 yards down the trail. We are gifted by their calls more often than we are by a sighting, so having 2 sightings for the year, here on our property, is very special. Unfortunately, they both flew way too fast for me to get a picture, but they have left an imprint on my heart and soul.

I was greeted this morning by my young horse, Onyx. His loving expression and gentle whisper of a call, made my heart sing, as our hearts connected. Today, I noticed that the wind had created a whimsical heart where a unicorn horn would naturally appear. Yes, he is indeed my magical unicorn. He whispers to my heart and calls me to play with him. He is intuitive, wise and adventurous. He always encourages me to laugh, dance and be more playful. He also inspires me to tune into a child’s heart and creative imagination.

The recent owl sightings have inspired me to always listen to my heart wisdom, as I manifest and live a magically inspired and incredibly adventurous life.

Magical Gifts and Goodies: Moments of Gratitude

When I walked out to the arena the other day, Onyx called out to me from the arena gate! We had played together a few days before in the arena, so this was his way of letting me know he wanted to play again, which was a huge compliment! If our play had not been good for him. He would have walked away. I certainly would not have been greeted with a heartfelt sweet sounding whiny!

The next afternoon, I walked out to the barn to get something I needed in the house. Onyx was laying down in the sunshine over on his hill. He kept an ear on my, but didn't stand up. Instead of going directly to the barn, I walked over to him, gave him a treat and loved on him for a few minutes. He stayed laying down. He trusts me! This too, was a huge compliment to our relationship! If he didn't trust me, he would have stood up.

Both of these moments with Onyx, were special! Both made my heart sing! Both were magical gifts that I am very grateful for! we are progressing, we are becoming one together. It has taken time and will continue to take time, but for now, we are feeling the magic.

Magical Gifts and Goodies: Living A Fairy Tale Life

As I sat down to write, I asked my Angelic Team of amazing souls to join me as I pondered and scrolled through recent Magic Glass images. This one appeared on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. It too, is a lovely image of Bear with a rock! Rock Reflections started because of Bear and his connection to my team of angels! It warms my heart to see that he is still here with me in spirit. 

This image pulled me in, again today. It, like Bear did all summer, reminded me to write! To write whatever feels connected to my team of Angels (Spirit Guides, Universal Energy, a magical pool of sparkling water full of love and light).  My job is to sit down, slow down and allow myself to just be. I bring my heart, and my soul to the rock, to listen and bring forth 'wisdom' full of love and joyful energy. 

This wisdom is not mine, as I have said before, it comes from a deep well of love! A spiritual love that I have been fortunate enough to tap into. I simply listen, write and ponder the messages I receive. It is not a secret, it is possible for us all to tap into this deep pool, full of peace, calm and abundance. It's a magical place, full of unexpected "gifts and goodies" we can all receive, when our mind is still. 

Living in the moment, finding a quiet space in your heart and trusting that you too can tap into the sparkling pool of love, are the keys to this magical life changing experience!

Years ago, I felt drawn to write. I sat in bars and wrote on napkins, a crazed college girl, seeking love, life and adventure. I was pulled in (or should I say away from a life full of dreams and magic) by what I thought was love... Yep, love in all the wrong places! I found a path to my soul when I wrote decades ago! (I promise, I will share those poems and stories at some point. I know they came from the same pool of love I have repeatedly been pulled back to over the years! I know they contain magical insights and wisdom.) Today, I am grateful that I have found my way back to my soul path and that I am once again writing from my heart! 

It's true, my life is like a fairy-tale! I have had ups and down, bumpy roads, missed opportunities, failed relationships and hard times! Drama and pain! Heartbreak and loss! Yet, when I visit the sparkling pool, full of magic and wonder, I find my strength, my wisdom and I persevere. This is when I am able to notice the gifts, the goodies and the love, which abounds all around me. I feel the "sparkling, magical fairy dust" as it soothes my soul in ways that I feel deeply. 

Monday evening, I was unexpectedly given a message from my team during a live Metaphysical Chat for the month of December. Debbra Lupien and I have known each other for decades! We met through our horses and have stayed connected for many years. She has been a cheerleader, a coach and a friend! This message feels like she is also my Fairy Godmother! It's a magical message that gave me goosebumps as my eyes filled with tears of gratitude. My heart heard the truth in this message, however my mind is honestly still processing it, as I step into my truth, my soul path and magical adventure.

Angelic Communion Practice: Magic Glass Discovery

This beautiful Magical Glass has been with me since 1984. It was a gift! One of a set of 4. I don't remember who gifted it to me, though I remember picking it out to add to the registry! I was instantly mesmerized by its curves and mystical design! 

I had no idea how magical it was, nor the images it would evntually reveal! I just knew it was perfect and called to me! I was so very grateful when I carefully removed the silver wrapping paper with a white bow and wedding bells, to find them all nested in a protective box! 

I have moved this particular Magic Glass several times since 1984. I have used it for water, orange juice and red wine! It brings me joy, it always has! I cried when each of the 3 other glasses, chipped, broke or shattered into a million pieces! 

I wonder if I would have discovered the magic it holds, if the set would have remained in tact? I highly doubt it!

How did I discover the Magic hidden within this crystal clear glass? My Angelic Team and Spirit Guides brilliantly sprinkled magical breadcrumbs for me to notice! I have been gifted birds, feathers and numbers for years! So, I am used to recieving messages from the other side of the veil. 

Angelic communication is creative and magical but, it's a 2 way street! It's a language both sides learn and is unique, yet similar for all! 

How was I lead to discover the Magic Glass images?

In June, just before my dad's heavenly birthday, we were driving through the woods! I took several pictures and shared them on Facebook. A friend noticed a face in the trunk of the tree on the right! Can you see it? 

A Guardian Angel, a Spirit Guide, or a Magical Tree Nymph, Gnome or Pixie! We named this trail Wishbone Trail, because it splits just past this magical tree!

The day after my dear friend crossed  this rock heart magically appeared! It was a powerful message and significant sign from her and my team, that she was ok!  

Hearts are so incredibly symbolic, it was not the first time I have received them from my Angelic Team, nor was it the last heart image I was gifted!

Two days later, I peeled the sticker off of this apple! Fyi, my dear friend was also a retired teacher! She was strong and having fun! I was grieving and incredibly grateful for her kindness! 

I believe she found and joined my team of angels. She knew my vibrational signature and frequency, so could locate me quickly! My team helped her learn the ABC's and she added her personal touch! Team work at its finest!

Unfortunately, both of my senior dogs started to show more signs of failing health. I had a difficult decision to make! Stay home from the Celebration of Life, or go! I felt guided to stay home! This image appeared in the sky right around the time I was making the decision!  Staying home, was the right decision.  I have no regrets!

My seniors joined my Angel Team, full of Universal wisdom, within the month! Tough days were ahead. My angels were close by!

I played with my horses in honor of my friend on her day of celebration!  

The horse and the two playful dog images appeared in the sky above our barn! I was reflecting upon my friend and her many friends, as I read their amazing tributes to her on her page when the images appeared! I had tears streaming from my eyes, as I took this picture! 

All of these amazing images my team sent me surprised me, but my heart was open and incredibly grateful! I was ready to receive. I was ready to continue this magical conversation! I was ready to go deeper!

I thanked my team with every new image, I also challenged my team as I watched for more unigue messages to arrive! Messages that continued to heal my heart and guide me on this Magical Adventure of life!

One of the many treasured images, that appeared in the sky, during my senior dogs hospice days, was this beautiful Teddy Bear with a heart on his chest!

I honestly don't remember seeing so many meaningful cloud images, since I was a child! I am so very grateful that I was reminded to look up again, that I noticed, and that I was and continue to be receptive to communication with the otherside of the veil!

The day Bella joined the Angels the clouds howled! The song was heard, the message was heartfelt! We lit a candle and shared her many stories! She was special, sweet and kind!

Messages aren't always images, though this story is primarily about them! It is important to note that the day Bear, my heart dog, let me know he was ready to cross, we were devastated! We weren't ready to let him go! 

My heart was so incredibly heavy when this adorable horse appeared just after we said goodbye to him! 

I was looking for signs that he was ok! The horse peaked out from under a car as we walked through a parking lot! I picked it up, thanked my team, and set it up on the median to hopefully be seen! I  have to admit I wanted to keep this treasured find!

As we drove away, I saw that the little one had been lovely retrieved and put back into the car with a little girl! My heart was full!

This lovely mushroom, in the shape of a heart, also appeared right after his crossing! We noticed it while we took a drive through our trails! Yes, Bear had earned his angel wings and was ok!

I had never seen a heart in the bottom of a horses feed bucket, either! I had just finished an amazing play time with Onyx, my gaited palomino! I felt my friend was with me as we played at liberty! She loved to play at liberty with her beautiful horses! Teaching them to be good citizens was her specialty! 

We had talked a lot about Onyx on the phone and through texts about what he needed from me, to become a very good citizen. It was a magical play session! I could hear her words and feel her energy as we played. It was truly a Magical Adventure I will also treasure! 

I had been thinking that Onyx may very well be my unicorn while we were playing, because it was as if we were sharing one mind, one soul and one body! 

When I spotted this perfect heart in his feed bowl, I felt the truth in my heart! He is my unicorn! He just needed time, as did I, to become one with me! 

Hearts have been an incredible way for my Angel Team to get my attention along with other meaningful images! So early this fall, while taking my evening vitamins, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this perfect heart in the bottom of what I now call, the Magic Glass!

I have been inspired to write many stories from the many images I have been magically drawn to see! Some stories are memories, some are current experiences, some are happy, and some are sad! I trust there will be many more stories bubbling up to be shared from future images, as I trust that they will continue to appear and inspire my heart to write!

All of these stories have felt guided by my angelic team, my Spirit Guides or the collective divine universal energy I gratefully connect with! I continue to be amazed and in awe, because I am never alone when I write! 

Yesterday, we experienced the magic of winter! Snow! Beautiful white snow! Clean and fresh!  

As I walked to the barn I noticed the first horse show angel of the season! Can you see the tail feathers left in the snow? It's stunning, beautiful and mesmerizing!

It's a perfect image made by my unicorn! A message to always look for the Magic, as it is everywhere!  

Look high, and look low! Magical images are on trees, in the sky, in the bottom of a bucket, in the shape of a rock, in the snow or within an image in the bottom of a Magic Glass!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the mystical horse head and heart image this morning!  The Magic Glass created yet another masterpiece! It's beautiful and perfect for this moment in time!

Angelic Communion Practice: Distractions and Dolphins

As I pondered today's post I reflected on life in general. I didn't have anything to write about, so I thought! I hadn't taken any new pictures yesterday of anything I felt drawn to write about this morning. I decided that I would become inspired by something, eventually, as I went about my morning and I did. 

I have to say that today I noticed just how incredibly distracted I can be.  For example, Tipper needed to be fed. However, mid preparation of her food, I was distracted, I started getting my coffee ready. We have a really cool new coffee maker. It grinds the beans, so you have fresh ground coffee. I left Tipper's food on the island, I had to add water to her canned food and pour it into the kibble. I had measured her kibble and canned food, but when I turned the water on.... I was distracted by the coffee! I needed coffee!!

I cleaned the filter and coffee pod out and put it on the coffee maker and pressed the button that says grind. At that moment, I noticed Tipper as she grabbed her bone. Something she does right before she eats. Yep, she had to bring my focus back to the most important task at hand. FEEDING HER!

She was so patient with me, even though I was distracted and didn't feed her before making the coffee. She didn't bark, or whine or fuss. She just waited patiently for me to magically notice her. She got my attention, by picking up her bone, but she did it politely. I actually laughed when it occurred to me that my Angelic Team must feel like Tipper. They ever so politely bring my focus back to what is most important! Living a magical life and of course, writing about it!

My Magic Glass gave me two meaningful images with messages today and a 3rd I am not sure if it has a meaning or not. It may represent distraction or stillness, or stay open as the message will come.

As I added the Magic Glass image, just now, I saw an image of an inquisitive beluga whale emerging right in front of me. There it was, beautiful, stunning and staring right into my heart. They are sending me the message to breathe, listen and be. The words will come, the image will magically appear when you need to see it. The messages will come when you are ready to hear them. Be patient!

Another image I was given today was a ROCK. Yes, a Rock! This summer I spent most every morning grounding and writing Rock Reflections, with Bear. A beautiful soul. A Black Lab/Wired-haired Griffin Cross. He barked and danced until we went out to the chair to write. He is now a member of my Angelic Team. I never knew what would magically flow from my fingers, if anything! I just knew I needed to give myself a space, a time, an opening, to let the words spring from my heart onto the page. Bear, was insistent that we spend time together at the ROCK every single day. Even when I did not feel like writing or when I was distracted, there he was insisting that we go sit together. I am so very grateful to him for being a part of this magical adventure I am on. So, when I saw this image of a ROCK, the message this morning was clear. I needed to give myself space and time, instead of being distracted. I needed to get grounded, I needed to spend time at the ROCK.

Today, I was drawn to sit in my chair, near the fire, as it is cold outside. After Bear crossed, I soon stopped Rock Reflections, however, look where I intuitively put Bear's ashes!

For a day when I thought I had absolutely nothing to say, this post is long, as I was called to focus on each image. The words appeared, I just had to get out of the way and allow them to flow. There is one more image that the Magic Glass shared today. The image that called to me first, is the image of the dolphin holding a ball. Come play with me. Dance with me. Swim with me! Be joyful and creative as you travel on this magical adventure, we call life!

Being in the moment is so very important. Can you feel the shift in your heart, when you take the time to just be? 

Do you have a place in the woods, near a stream, or maybe a deep blue ocean where you can go, either in your mind or in person to be one with nature and your Angelic Team? (Spirit Guides, inner wisdom, Universal Energy, etc.)

When you allow your heart to be still, to heal, to feel open and joyful, creativity bubbles up. Have you taken your moment today to be one with yourself and your Team?
