My lovely daughter came to visit today with her dogs. It's so much fun to have them come for a visit and a run. We will be dog sitting in a couple of weeks, so we are trying to get her dog daisy and Tipper used to each other before they come to our house for 4 nights. Blue knows our home well, he has been here many times, but Daisy has never spent the night here before.

Every time they visit, they settle down a little bit more and Tipper does too. I think we will be fine when the weekend arrives, however, I will be glad when they go home. Tipper has shifted from being a pack dog, to being a really amazing single dog. She loves to hang out with us and was totally exhausted when my daughter and her dogs left.
Our talk was a deep one. I am so grateful for the insights my daughter shared with me. It's important, even though we tear up, because healing occurs in layers. I am so very grateful for my daughter's wisdom. She is an amazing young woman. I am so grateful to have her in my life. She is understanding, wise, strong, and beautiful on the inside and out. She mentioned that we see things from different perspectives. Both of our perspectives are valid.
My heart is full after I visit with her. May your heart be full after you visit with your adult children, too!
