April Gratitude Practice: Dream Messages

Last night I had a dream about a Mountain Lion. It was perched in the tree right outside our front window! A big male! I took a few amazing pictures of it, as it moved this way and that!

Fyi, I live in the Midwest, we rarely see or hear about them being here! Though, we did see one walking with its tail high in the air, many years ago. The horses alerted us to it. We saw it walking through our woods, next to the back fence line, with our binoculars. We stopped and looked at each other wondering if we saw what we thought we saw. That was wild.

Back to the dream. I noticed 3 women sitting at our picnic table, (currently, I don't even have a picnic table.) They were watching the Lion and taking notes. They had a dark grey van. It was parked on the street. It looked like a weather tracker van. It has a big antenna on the roof.

Since there was a collar on the ML, they could follow it. (Hmm, I had watched a video late yesterday evening about horses with trackers.)

I started talking to one woman in particular. I remember that she had a lovely face. I mentioned that I was a teacher. She told me she was very worried about the possibility of a teacher's strike. She didn't know what was going to do with her kids if there was a strike?

I said, "They will ask all of the retired teachers, like me, to return to work." This information seemed to settle her down.

At this point the Mountain Lion jumped out of the huge Silver Maple tree and took off.

One of the other women said that it was time to go, since the Lion was on the move! We said goodbye. I thought, "Why was there a lion in my tree?"

I looked up the spiritual meaning of Mountain Lion. Leadership, new adventure and transformation!

My dear late friend and I shared the same birthday, which is coming up. She lived in Mountain Lion country in the Black Hills. She was a teacher and horsewomen. I believe she may have been the Mountain Lion and possibly, also the main women whom I talked to! She loved the lions!

I am not sure what the message about coming out of retirement meant, but I have been pondering doing something with the horses having to do with mindfulness and self discovery. I see myself doing this during a zoom meeting with anyone who is interested. I did something similar with the herd during our online teaching experience. I loved it.

I am grateful for this dream! It was a strong, graceful and peaceful dream.
