Angelic Communion Practice: Hope

My dear chocolate red mare sought me out this morning. We stood quietly together looking out over the meadow! Soaking in the energy of the sun and the peace and calm of the forest! 

I was delighted to have her come to me of her own freewill! After the stress and turmoil of the last 2 mornings, seeing her calmly seek my connection out, was sooo sweet! 

Hope struggles with anxiety, and separating from any of her herdmates is extremely hard for her! When she came to me, to stand in peaceful harmony, my heart felt that amazing connection between us! This connection is happening more and more often!

When we loaded Image in the trailer, Hope lost her confidence. She wasn't alone, the rest of the herd, did too! All were calm when we returned, until they heard Image call to them! Then the party for her return commenced!

Connection is something the herd offers each other to stay safe! To stay confident and peaceful! They move as one in a herd! I felt my angels move with me, as one, while I attempted to load Image into the trailer all 3 times!

I felt the peace, the wisdom and the message to be in the moment every single time I lost my focus, and my confidence! Fear and worry tried really hard to step in throughout the weekend! 104.2 temp for a horse is high. Not eating was scary, but watching her put her head into the water tank to cool off, was heart wrenching!

When she wouldn't or couldn't load to travel to the vet clinic, I heard in my heart, loud as can be, "Build her a ramp!" So we did!

Today, when Hope joined me, I could hear her say! "Thank you, for taking me in!" As we found ourselves connecting to each other, once again! It was a heart felt connection!

Our wisdom, our angels, our universal energy touches our hearts in the same exact way! It's a knowing that our heart feels! When we let go of the worry and fearful thoughts, love rises to the surface, because our angels touch us through love!

Angelic Communion Practice: Magical Heart Connections

This boy! Onyx, my 6 year old, gaited gelding, ran at a canter; a beautiful, driven, focused, canter right toward me. He ran right past Dan! He ran at least 100 yards! It was sooo sweet!

He apparently, hadn't realized I was at the barn. He had been in his stall when I walked out to the barn. He walked out to eat hay near the end of his lane, just as I walked through the lean-to to get into the inside of the barn. We passed each other, without seeing each other.

I picked up the fork to pick out stalls and dry lot areas. I left his stall and outside area for last. When I came out to pick his area up, he spun around, called out to me and with pure joy cantered up. Dan was halfway between us. Onyx didn't even see him, as his eyes were glued on me.

Dan waved an arm, just so Onyx noticed him. Onyx counter-cantered sideways, 3 feet, never taking his eyes off of me. I could feel is energy and focus as he approached. He stopped, gently, respectfully and politely right outside my bubble and waited for me to come to him. I gave him a treat, but that was not what he wanted! He wanted me, and our heart connection. He rubbed on me, politely, got a couple scratches in his favorite places and walked back out to his hay!

Yes! He left his hay, to say hello! TO ME!!! Tears! I was overjoyed with emotion. This was HUGE!!!

We shared an incredible, Magical Heart Connection! Feeling that happy, joyful energy focused on me was a feeling I will treasure forever. I can't force it, I can't recreate it, but boy, when it comes I appreciate it with all of my heart.

Angelic Heart Connections are so very similar. When they happen, feeling that happy, joyful energy focused on me is also a feeling I treasure. I can't force it, I can't recreate it, but when it comes I appreciate it with all of my heart, too!

I was recently watching a young woman go out into her very large pasture to catch her horse. She walked and walked, calling and shaking a feed pan. The horse did not come. She was getting frustrated. She had a timeline and having to go this far out to catch the horse was messing with her schedule. The horse, as it turned out, was back in the trees, as far from her as possible. When the horse noticed her, the reaction was similar to Onyx. The horse called out, spun and came up to her with a joyful expression and energy. The woman did not cherish the moment. She was actually angry with the horse. Her tone, words and energy were frustrated with her for not coming when she called her. I thought, wow this horse came to you with a joyful, happy heart and you didn't let her know that you appreciated her. My heart hurt for them both. It was a missed opportunity to create and deepen the connection between them. She didn't know. She doesn't speak horse... yet! Hopefully she will... someday!

I started to ponder about missed opportunities with my angels. How many times over the years have I missed out on an Angelic Heart Connection? How many times have they called to me, come running to me with this same focused energy and I missed an opportunity to connect? Learning to connect with a horse or an angel takes, being open, being quiet and appreciating the tiny moments of connection you do notice and feel. When we do this, it becomes an incredibly special and treasured connection, that happens more and more often. It becomes deeper and stronger as you practice it. We can learn to speak and listen to our Angel team through our heart strings. We can appreciate and treasure these moments as they occur more and more frequently. If I can do this, you can too!

When was the last time you felt another being's incredible joy when they saw you?

Can you get quiet, can you be open to and notice when a heart connection is offered to you from another?

Angelic Communion Practice: Camel Energy

I didn't see the camel image until I rotated the picture and it became clear as ever! Awe, what is the spiritual message of this camel?

Planning and preparing was one message I found, which makes perfect sense to me! Especially considering the trail we created this summer! We started it way back in July when we noticed the branch had fallen! It's oak, so a very good wood to burn!

We studied it, cut up what we could so it would start to dry out and realized we could create a new path from one trail to the other! This would make it easier to pick up the heavy logs with the big blue tractor!

We decided to wait until after a freeze, so the plants would drop their leaves and make it easier to see our way!

Be wise, listen to your wisdom and stay grounded! When I reflect on this incredible message, I can't help but think about how far I have come! The twists and turns my life has taken were not easy, at times! I found myself in a pretty depressed state! Through, grounding, gratitude and wise counsel, I have persevered through life!

I, like the camel, am stronger! I learned to adapt and I developed endurance through mindfulness! Yes, we used the big blue tractor to carve a new path next to the majestic oak tree, but we are building stamina and endurance as we plan, navigate and discover a new path! A new way of being as we age!

The rocks and old tangled vines, next to this old tree, ground my heart, and I feel peace! I, like the camel, am resilient! I am grounded and I feel wise once again!

Angelic Communion Practice: Cats and Trails!

I am stumped! The Magic Glass produced this beautiful image of 2 Cats looking at each other! I am pondering their message! Maybe it will show up as I write?

Ollie and Onyx were hanging out together as we returned from the woods! They used to fight, now they don't!  It was a sweet picture and message! How did they manage to stop fighting and become friends? 

As I recall, Spitz and Coal fought a lot, too! They eventually learned to share and tolerate each other!

The forest trails needed maintenance yesterday!  We took the side by side and the big blue tractor out together! Together we worked, sharing the work between us! We harvest some wood to burn and two beautiful pine logs to use in the arena!

Dan and I rarely, if ever, argue! We are independent, respectful of each others moods and needs! Humm, maybe the Cats represent us and our relationship?

We are a great team, working side by side, independently, yet together on the same goals!

Yesterday, we were in separate vehicles!  We heard each other, through space and time, as we picked up downed trees and cleared trails! It was hard, but satisfying work!

When we were finished, we stood side by side knowing we will continue clearing the trails and gathering more wood again, on another day! 

Partnership, with a soul connection, like ours, is a treasure I am grateful to have!

Connection with my angel team, is also a soul connection, which I treasure! A knowing, an understanding and a partnership between my team and my heart!

Wisdom, higher power, divne inspiration! Being in the flow with life!  Picking up downed trees and clearing the forest trails strengthens the connections we have with the universe, making life flow more smoothly! 

Mindfulness, healthy habits, clearing space, letting go, living life from a heart connection, with our tribe, allows life to flow smoothly! 

Treasure these connections!

Angelic Communion Practice: Preparations and Creativity

Fall has turned around after a week of freezing temps! So winter Preparations have continued with these warmer temps! No hand warmers have been needed to keep my fingers warm! Deep sigh of relief, as this reprieve is welcomed with open arms!

Dan kept working on the 'to do,' list! He put up snow guards on the roof above our split wood pile! Last year, without them, we had some heavy snow fall in large sheets and hit us! It wasn't funny, but we learned the hard way about how dangerous metal roofs can be! Yikes!

I rearranged our small deck for winter! Again! 3rd time is the charm! I think it meets all our needs for the cold winter months! We can both sit by the fire on warmer days! Tipper has a spot and the smoker is easily accessible, without obscuring the view! It feels cozy, too! 

I had to get creative and think outside the box to meet all of our needs!

Update on Spitz! I pondered the recent cat images I had received and while petting Spitz I noticed he was matted! That is very unusual for him! I suspect his range of motion isn't what it was or because Coal isn't around he needed help with grooming! So, I brushed and combed him until they were gone!

I was grateful for the angel's cat messages! I bet Spitz was too!

Sometimes we need to trust our angels to speak to us in a quiet way! Other times the answers are loud and clear! I was reminded this morning about a decision I struggled with a few weeks ago! I have no regrets saying no! Had I said yes, there are things I have loved doing, that I would have missed out on!

Do you listen to your inner wisdom, to that beautiful angelic voice, that simply knows the answer to a question?

Do you honor the deep knowing answer?

Or do you argue and stress about the decisions you are or have made?

I can easily stress and worry, that has been my habit, however I am grateful that I have been trusting my deeper connection with my heart and living a happier, more magical and peaceful life!

Angelic Communion Practice: Giraffe or Guinea?

A few days ago, a lovely image of 2 giraffes appeared in the Magic Glass! I noticed it and wondered about the message my angels were sending us! Yes, us! Us because this message is for all who see and read it! 

I looked up the spiritual meaning for the eloquent giraffe! Stand tall, remain calm, focus on the horizon and my favorite is to find balance between your heart and your thinking! 

I often say that to write, I must write from my heart, but to edit, I must be in my thinking side of my brain! 

For many years as a teacher, I wrote individual educational plans for my students! I spent a great deal of time in the thinking side of my brain! It was draining and stressful! I needed to make sure everything was perfect and accurate! Over the years, I became disconnected from my heart!

Since I retired, the creative heart centered energy has been bubbling up!  I find myself in an amazing loving flow! I still connect to the thinking aspect of life, but I prefer to explore where my heart pulls my attention! 

This morning a guinea found its way to our horse pasture! We had heard there was one in the neighborhood, but we had not seen it until today! 

It apparently likes to announce its presence because it was loud, very loud!  The horses were high headed and on alert! I was curious, I had never heard one before,  so I didn't know what it was! When it appeared I was glad it appeared! It is welcome here!

My herd will be better because of it! The noise and irratic movements will help them to be calmer, braver, trail horses! Guinea also eat bugs and I hope, mice! It will help the horses to stand tall, remain calm and become more balanced!

Angelic Communion Practice: Self care

This morning as I asked for inspiration and guidance to write, I was inspired to write about self care!

We gravitated to the deck after we poured ourselves a cup of coffee! With a lit fire and a blanket to keep the chill at bay we enjoyed our time together!

Self care, rest and relaxation! This week we physically worked hard. We cut firewood, hauled it home and stacked it! We brought a load of hay home and put it away! The arena was dragged! Prepping for winter was made easier with warmer temps and gifts from friends!

Self care for our bodies, but also our minds! We visited with several friends this week! We enjoyed a huge bonfire over coffee! We sat on the deck chatting after a morning of physical work another day and we chatted with a couple of other friends before we cut firewood during the middle of the week!

Mindful self care! We drove through our trails! Saw a little possum preparing for winter, we watched a young buck eating in the meadow, we heard the calls of male pheasants and watched the antics of the crows!

We enjoyed smoked salmon, chicken, and sweet potatoes! We laughed hysterically when silly things happened. Laughter is self care! Lifting logs is self care, resting by the fire and talking to friends is self care! Noticing and appreciating a calm mind, heart and soul is self care!

Angelic Communion Practice: Ying and Yang

The Magic Glass has created several interesting pictures of cats over the last week! The 2 cats, Ying and Yang, may be one of my favorite images!

I am unsure of the meaning of all of these cat images! Are they messages from the cats who have crossed the veil or is there a specific meaning I may discover as time passes?

We have one fairly tame barn cat and one very, very wild black cat who visits sporadically! Both are very old!

Spitz was born here. His mother was also a very wild cat! Spitz was from a litter of 4 wild munchkins! He is mostly white with black markings! He chooses his people carefully! Sometimes he says hello to visitors, sometimes he runs and hides! He trusts Dan and I, but is selective with others!

Coal is all black! He used to hide or run, but in his older days he has slowed down! Unfortunately, I haven't seen him in the last several weeks! It's not uncommon for him to disappear from our sight for long periods of time!

I ponder the various messages these images may be sending! Has Coal crossed over? Are these messages from him? Is Spitz nearing the end of his days with us?

Is the message in the Ying and Yang image? As I ask my angels this question, I feel a gentle peace wash over my heart!

Looking at both sides of a perspective may be the important message! Good and bad! Weaknesses vs strengths! Possible vs impossible! Young vs old!

Listening with the heart vs listening with a judgmental ego?

Why would a cat represent Ying and Yang? Cats are hunters, yet also lovers! Cats are independent yet crave connection! Cats can be playful or aggressive!

The same cat can be all of these things depending upon the situation and community they live in! I am this way, too!

Maybe, just maybe, the Ying and Yang is for me? Maybe the message is to love both sides of myself! The Ying and the Yang. The strong and the weak! The lover and the fighter! The calm and the anxious! The patient and the impatient! The hugger and the runner!

My angel team had a lot to say through these persistent cat images!

I am grateful for this time to reflect!
